A Nordic week where children and youth 8 – 18 years old play together with professional musicians from all over Scandinavia. We will play together, for each other and other!
Tónlek is a week for Nordic students 8-ca 18 years, playing string instruments. This year’s host of Tónlek is Sweden and the week has previous been in Norway (2012), Denmark (2013), Sweden (2014), Faroes (2015), Finland (2016) and Denmark (2018).

For you who are between 8-18 years old and play a string instrument at any level
Every day will contain
- Playing in orchestra (one orchestra for everyone and one for advanced string musicians)
- 30 min individual lesson (or two and two for the younger ones)
- Free play and game
- Cool meetings
- Focus on nordic classical and trad/folk music
- Concerts
- Experience of the Swedish summer
The week will also contain
- Workshops
- Secret events
- Networking
- New friends – maybe for life?

We will make an initial admission process already at the end of June. Therefore, it is important that you apply early to be part of the process!
